Summary: Camille sends Mog, another Rinshi Beast, into the city to destroy the humans. The Frog Beast is almost exactly the same as Toady, he even has his own exploding balls. As Mog is gathering fear to become stronger, the Rangers arrive and easily take him on with the Jungle Mace, Jungle Fan and Shark Sabers. Mog makes himself grow. The Rangers form Jungle Pride with Elephant Power. Mog forms a Slime Force Field around himself, but it's destroyed by a spin attack from the Megazord's Jungle Mace. He then leaps high into the sky, but the Rangers form Jungle Pride with Bat Power and follow him. Mog is forced out of the sky, but he survives their Swoop Attack finisher. So they form Jungle Pride with Shark Power. Mog is destroyed by the "Mega Rotation Launch" finisher.

Dai Shi's training is proceeding well. Camille returns to Dai Shi's temple throne room where Jellica is training him. Jellica attacks Camille for her failure, but Dai Shi saves her again and asks Jellica to spare her and explains that she can still be of use. Carnisoar returns to the temple. Carnisoar and Jellica revive the two Shadow Guards of Carnisoar's that were seen just standing there in the background of the throne room this whole time. Jellica revives the white one as Carnisoar revives the blue one. Carnisoar tells Dai Shi to take the Shadow Guards with him and destroy the Rangers.

The teens return to JKP and are feeling very confident they are capable of taken on any challenge now. Fran wants to know where they've been. But to keep their Ranger identities, they tell her they were out bowling. RJ walks in and calls the three up to the loft, and Fran is left wondering what they do up there. The three believe they are now Masters. They ask RJ when do they get their Master Tattoos. But RJ explains that overconfidence is dangerous, and it's now time to go back to basics. Dai Shi challenges the Rangers to face him. The three leave loft with full confidence they can not lose.

The Shadow Guards hold off Red and Blue for Dai Shi to challenge the Rangers one by one. After taken down Yellow, Dai Shi is then challenged by Blue Ranger. He easily takes out Blue, then is challenged by Red. Red Ranger is also easily defeated. Yellow Ranger seemed to have given Dai Shi the biggest challenge out of the three, but not even her Cheetah Jabs could slow him down. The Rangers regroup and summon the Claw Cannon. The Shadow Guards move in front of Dai Shi, but he has them stand aside. The Rangers fire the Claw Cannon, but Dai Shi deflects the blast. He summons his Lion Spirit and the Rangers are demorphed. Dai Shi is about to finish them, but then RJ jumps in. Dai Shi offers to spare the Rangers if RJ surrenders. So the Wolf Master accepts and is taken away.

The three teens head up to loft. Dai Shi explains to Jellica and Carnisoar that he wanted to destroy the Pai Zhuq Master in front of them as a gift for training him. Jellica orders Camille to prepare the stadium for battle. Camille wonders if the Rangers will find other Masters. But Jellica explains they have already trained with the last three on Earth, there are no more living Masters. To go back to basics like RJ said, the teens decide they should go back to the Forbidden Room at the Pai Zhuq school. Camille puts RJ in a Holding Cell.

The three return to the Forbidden Room. They find wall carvings of Master Phant, Master Swoop and Master Finn in their animal forms, and three more Pai Zhuq Masters - a Gorilla, an Antelope, and a Penguin. Master Mao appears and explains that these other three Masters can not be found, they were destroyed in the great battle and reside in the Spirit World. After explaining to the teens that if they went to the Spirit World they may never return, Master Mao finally opens the door to the Spirit World for them then vanishes. The three enter the portal and land in the Spirit World where they are suddenly greeted by the three Masters through battle. The teens lose and are told they should not have come to the Spirit World...
